Home of Nathaniel Bowditch from 1811 to 1823. Built in 1805, it is a National Historic Landmark, and is significant both architecturally and historically. It is located at the junction of Salem’s famed McIntire Historic District and the City’s downtown area. Owned by Historic Salem, Inc., the house is being restored.
