Countless visitors come to Salem each year in search of Witches—to meet them, to join in their public rituals, and to receive their wisdom and magic. Most don’t want to join the Craft, but to peer into a world oft-misunderstood. Focus group research conducted by the city’s official Office of Tourism discovered that 89% of Salem’s visitors included the modern Witch among their reasons for visiting. It should come as no surprise as people have been seeking out Witches from time immemorial. Salem makes it much easier to do so!
